Last weekend I had a hard time trying to find a 20 gig PS3.  They are selling a lot more of those than the 60 gig, which I see all over the place.

good to know.
It all depends on where you live.  Some places have an abundance of them, some places can't keep them in stock.
I really hope people dont come in and start bashing you calling you a liar and such

merely because the guy is just trying to share some info, so please dont flame him
My local best buy hasn't had any ps3's for a while. It had some wii's but they're sold out now too.
Yeah, I think it has to do with location and lifestyle of the people in the area.  I live in a smaller town at the moment (Terre Haute, IN), and our stores are all pretty packed with them.  I don't know why, but whatever...that means I won't have any problems when I go to buy.

Ah, another Coloradan. That Walmart in Englewood had at least 20 today.
good to know....glad to see the sales are picking up...if sony failed with the  ps3 then the game industry is over and microsoft will try to start a monoply o.o

I ended up getting the DS Lite at Circuit City, who also had a stack of PS3's on the floor. I'm sure stores are selling PS3, but they aren't selling as fast as Wii's or XBox360, I can tell you that. Go to your local EBGames or Gamestop and ask one of the managers. They'll tell ya.

Sweet, I'm not a PS3 guy though... YET! And I probably won't be! But you never know!

They had to decline prediction from of sales 15 million to 12 million from january to march. Microsoft lost 387 million from xbox 360 as well.

As a retailer, I know this to be true, and M$ is still selling the 10.4 milion they stocked retailer with anywho. Still, don't count 360 out!By JUNE 2006, 12 million Xbox 360's will be shipped! Pretty neat, that's like 4 months away![QUOTE=''XTy''][QUOTE=''blackace''][QUOTE=''XTy''] Thought I would let you guys know, although Im not some Ps3 guy, the sales have picked up, infact local Gamestops are out too. I live in Daytona Beach, FL which is a pretty popular place, and there isn't any place that sells video games that doesn't have atleast 10 PS3's, most 20 or more, but some just 10 or so.
That's not the case where I live. They're in Best Buy, Target, Game Stop, some little local vid store in the mall, Fred Meyer (like a grocery store with clothes and tvs and PS3s!)...still haven't seen any Wiis. My step-mom got up at five am a couple weeks ago to stand in line at Walmart and bought a Wii for my little sister. She said they had thirty and only twenty-seven people were there when they opened -- so I guess it's possible to buy a Wii without getting up at five am, but you still need to hustle. Where do you live? Japan?
