Hello allWith the upcoming releases of games like Far Cry 2, Fallout 3, Left 4 Dead, and so many more I have started to fall onto the hype train. My issue is this, do I get the games on PC or Xbox 360?This is an issue as I have recently got a HD-TV but ran out of Xbox Live. My 360 played up a couple of days ago but it seems fine so far so it could be a blip. On the other hand I could get the games on PC for 10 pounds cheaper (the games cost 40 pounds on 360 or 30 or lower on PC) on PC. However, I have an average system and may not get the best graphics on there, I have these specifications:Intel Pentium Dual Core E2160 at 1.8GHz per core, 2 gigabytes of DDR(2) memory, nVidia Geforce 8600GT 256mb, Windows XP, onboard sound etc.I can play Crysis in medium on this so the games are likely to work but the whole patching and lack of friends who use this is an issue. Can you give me your thoughts on this, I will be getting 3 or 4 games at most depending on how this goes,ThanksFuture games - PC or 360?
If you have a sexy PC get em for PC. But if you have a 360 and crappy PC like me get em for 360!Future games - PC or 360?
I prefer PC, because of controls and lower price tag.
360 because the lack of friends thing. Play where your friends are. Mine just happen to be on PC so I play there.
Well its an awkward one, more friends have a 360 but are silver members so its usually one or two who I play on gold I know (I have gamespot people on my friends list I sometimes play outside of people I know from my local area) but then I know a few others on PC who may get these games.
Go where most of your friends are. Your rig can handle all those games, decently. Because those are alot easier on it than crysis.
Get Left 4 Dead for PC. Valve releases substantial updates for their PC games after release and have promised to do the same for Left 4 Dead. Not to mention it's a Source game so it will run flawlessly on your 8600. As for the other two I'd say that's your personal Preference. You really can't go wrong with Fallout 3 for 360 other than the lack of mods (which may or may not be a huge deal for you). I haven't really looked much into Far Cry for Consoles or PC so I wont comment on that.
My issue really is the price of live. Its not bad for a year charge and its a good service but then extra maps and content cost money as do the extra costs for games. I dont mind loads as I work but I just dont know whether its worth it, if I dont buy games for the sytem then it feels it was a waste getting it and if I go exclusives only that would still mean needing live S?

Get them for the x360.
FPS and STRATEGY games. i go with PC. for fighting, jrpg's.. i go with 360
Without question PC for the games you mentioned.
At least get Left 4 Dead for PC. Valve is notorious for bad support of their console ports.
Buy them(FPS) for PC(only if you can run at very high), otherwise get em on 360.
I always prefer do play games in the 360. Don't have to worry about nothing, I just put the disc, and enjoy
PC.
Well, actually, I prefer to play RTS games in the pc...

I think the 360 versions are going to have better graphics with the videocard you have.
