Return of the Crysis killers thread

Which game do you think is a Crysis Warhead killer?I still think FFXIII might kill crysis, although with the release of Crysis Warhead, my nomination won't be as likely. Return of the Crysis killers thread
In all honesty nothing seems to kill it...... games on consoles especailly (we are talking about systems with terribly aged hardware) of course would be incapable of surpassing it, or reaching its level (design and visually).Of course that doesent mean there will be visually spectacular games. Aside from Crysis/Warhead games like Clear Sky also push the visual boundaries. FFXIII looks great in the trailers... as FF games have. Its always best to wait until release. The only game I can think of that has a good chance is Project Offset. Return of the Crysis killers thread

technological superiority isn't what makes a game good or not. Thats all Crysis has going for it.

No console game or multiplat will beat Crysis graphics wise except stuff like Far Cry 2 where the PC version is basically a different game on PC. But even that doesn't look as good. Crysis won't be beaten until sometime next year me thinks. Possibly by Crytek themselves =p

[/QUOTE]theres already games in development that look better than crysis on pc nuff said. Crysis i feel is more of a test of whats to come in terms of graphical achievements. Next gen consoles if they contunue a trend of pushing console graphics will be better than crysis. For example when FEAR came out for PC a lot of people said there is no way a current gen (ps2 xbox GC) could handle it but now its on consoles and it looks better than the pc version without graphical enhancing mods, More textures, Colour, lighting etc... There will be a limit on graphics eventually but lighting on the other hand has a LONG way to go. Game lighting is nowhere near photo realistic.
really, the only announced game that will likely look better than crysis when it comes out is Project Offset.
Graphics wise? I don't see anything coming out between now and the end of the calander year being better then Crysis.
Crysis looks better than the Final Fantasy XIII trailer which everyone says looks fake. So i really doubt it. :?
