Bulma is not a fighter, she uses guns. Alot of the villians gokuu faced used guns. The leather suits though.. well.. i suppose it's their way of making things ''cooler'' or modern.. not that i agree with it. And there's not just normal fighting, there were a number of incidences where ki blasts were definitely used in those trailers. For instance, in the first trailer Roshi seemed to use both a basic ki blast and a kia. They've also confirmed flying in the movie.Roshi doesn't need a beard when he's played by chow yung fat, i'd say the more tragic loss is roshi's perverted sense of humour(they claim he has a sense of humour, but a more ''family friendly one'').. but as long as he's a brilliant fighter it's not a complete lose(roshi is one of the most underrated fighters in the dragonball universe). I know people arenot happy that pikkoro(hah, piccolo) is not a darker green, but he actually does look quite good imo. He's supposed to look like Piccolo Daimao, or the great demon king piccolo, not the piccolo everyone has come to know and love(at least, not entirely). Anyways, they've definitely taken liberties with dragonballs story. Gokuu is not a child(which he was when he faced daimou), and he's apparently a high school student. But i suppose they are just trying to make him more relatable/interesting. Or maybe they're combining the characters of gokuu and gohan.
