CVG spotted the first game review over at Xbox World 360 magazine who gave it a 91% and went as far as to say that Resident Evil developer Capcom should take note of Dead Space,
''because EA can teach them a thing or three about survival horror.'' Ouch.
The review goes on to gush about the game's film-worthy script, intense horror themes and describes it as ''Rapture in space: every bit as disturbing, just as meticulously designed and easily as believable.''
We think it's safe to say that if more reviews mirror these kinds of impressions, then Dead Space delivered as promised. Our excitement level rises ...Dead Space Review - 91% (Capcom should t ...

I dont think capcom needs to take any notes.. EA probably got 90% of their ideas for this game from re4...
No link?
If capcom went back to Resident Evils roots as a survival Horror game and not a TPS, they could probably scare the pants off Dead Space, sadly I doubt they ever will go back to the sub-genre with less sales.
The comparison to Bioshock made me cringe a bit, considering how massively disappointing it was. Still it's hard to ignore a 91%, it's at least worth looking at.
EA can teach Capcom about survival horror and in return Capcom can teach EA how to not treat its fanbase as criminals.
Everybody wins!
Why should Capcom take note when they aren't even developing a horror game?
ohhh looking nice :D

RE4 was not a horror game at all but it was still an amazing game.
RE 1, 2, 3, VC was survival-horror.
RE 4, 5 is more survival-action.
Funny thing is survial horror games dont sell as well that is why RE4 changed gears slightly and it is by far the best selling in the series.
