Xbox 360 leads sales over Wii and PS3 at ...

On Amazon the 360 is ranked 11, the Wii is ranked 18, and the PS3 is ranked 65 sales wise.I'm not really that surprised by the PS3's performance, because it's price tag is what is really damaging it's sales. What I am surprised about is that the 360 is selling better than the Wii, I thought that it was supposed to be the new bread winner of the 3 consoles since it is so ''accessible'' (in terms of price and gameplay) to non-gamers. Yeah 360 is owning the sold out Wii. When the fad runs out you can go into a store and pick one up but you cant yet.

Anybody who wants a 360 can easily get one.

You don't really believe that the PS3 is THAT limited in supply do you? Maybe the Wii is suffering from shortages but Sony has said they had 2Mil + units in the US at the end of December and that their supply chain has been fixxed to accomodate demand.

Dont worry, people are quick to not give credit to the 360 for actually selling something. But hey, it sucks, it pumps out all these amazing games yet it looses out to mediocre crap on Wii. Shame really...

I deffinatly think the Wii is a fad.  Everytime a wii gamer claims ''and people who dont like video games like the wii'' as a case as to why the wii is so great I lauph out loud.  Its going to come back and bite them in the ass when all these non gamers dont buy a lot of games( if any) and in a few months will be almost forgotten.

The Wii is sold out everywhere. There is not enough supply for it to be on the top seller list. If there were enough Wiis, it would be higher on the sold list.

So that's not true?[/QUOTE] blinblingthing presented a link a few threads back about how the Wii isn't selling out in NA, just like the PS3. I'm not sure about it being from a valid source.
Ofcoarse it has a lead both the Wii and the PS3 are sold out.
The best thing to do is to compare the sales of the systems when all three are readily available at Amazon.

Wiis from Amazon themselves have not been available since Novemeber 19th. All the Wii's that have been sold on Amazon are people selling them at prices that have ranged from 400-600 dollars. Trust me, I've been trying to find a Wii there, but its impossible.  The fact that the Wii is so close to the 360 is amazing.
