Live Party seems more seamless then Home

With the new XBox experience, Live party allows up to 8 friends to go everywhere on the 360 together....if they all have the same game. Apparently its very seamless with little to no waiting. Correct me if im wrong here, but Home seems tedious as you all have to meet up in an apartment or the ''warhawk lobby'' or whatever and then go into a game. It just seems like it takes up too much time for a bunch of people to get into a game together.i dont know, thats just me.Live Party seems more seamless then Home

I could careless for HOME, not sure why Sony is investing so much time in it....but anyways I like the traditional method of doing things, popping in a game, being able to see what room your friend is playing in, then jumping right into it. the end.

I agree that live party is probabally more seamless but Sony isnt trying to make a seamless experience designed to appeal to hardcore gamers, they are trying to attract the more casual gamers with the Home concept of meeting up in a room or lobby and being able to walk around. A 20 year old hardcore gamer might have no interest whatsoever in Home but a 20 year old female gamer might be. I think Home is a big gamble but hey, thats what makes it interesting.

Almost like a private channel with stuff to do while your waiting for that one friend who has the weak bladder and always needs to use the bathroom at the last minute.
true im in the HOME beta its not all its cracked up to be, but i havent tried joining a room through home yet

As for Netflix, everyone must be a suscriber.hey at least it works with the video marketplace.......

So based on everybodies response........Live Party and the 8 way private chat are just some examples that are really gonna imprrove Live.So if Home from a gaming standpoint isnt as fast as Live Party and if its used for non-gaming social purposes, how come cows believe Home will elevate PSN to Lives level.........when the New Xbox experience only aims to WIDEN the gap?it astounds me.
