The post says 3 weeks, yet you posted a month. Why do SW posters try to be misleading all the time?Sony needs to stop resting on their laurels in Japan. They have made A LOT of headway in America and in Europe, but now they are losing Japan to the Wii, then followed by M$, probably due to RPG's. This thread will be pages long, no doubt, but with talk of who's in SECOND place? in Japan. The Wii is still first, the PS3 is second, the 360 is third in Japan, despite these past 3 weeks. Does it matter? Not really. It's interesting, but expected with the JRPG's and price drops. Still, even the Wii isn't what it could be in Japan, due to Handhelds and Cell Phones. EDIT : Gamasutra was the one misleading, apparently.

Haha, my brothers who traveled to Japan said the 360 is pitiful there. That there's a small section for it in the back of all the videogames stores.I showed them what was going to in all, and they think it's crazy!

I think LBP and Fable 2(maybe) could move consoles for both parties in Japan.



Sony is beefing up their Japanese appealing games. They have 12 unheard of PS3 exclusives all published by Sony Computer Entertainment Japan. An exclusive game from Konami and Irem. Not to mention White Knight, and Demon's Soul. I'm glad 360 has beaten PS3 in Japan. Now that they've been defeated, Sony isn't trying to lose in their home turf again and thanks to competition PS3 has 2 upcoming jrpg, and 14 new PS3 exclusives. Also Team ICO's game.



It seems like MS, is fresh out of jrpg exclusives besides the vaporware known as Cry On. Surely they'll show something at TGS.

If the trend continues, the PS3 will have taken back the position of fourth place, which is, somehow, ''Sony Land'' in some people's opinions. :?
